They immersed themselves in the sounds of Minimal house, deep tech, breaks, disco and jazz, ultimately leading up to a new library of artists and tracks long sought out for. Now focusing on a catalouge of carefully attained records, they aim to diversify the scene with a groovy and eclectic yet bass heavy style. ✦ A veteran of NYC’s underground chip music scene, Janus Rose - @janus.rose has evolved her sound constantly over more than a decade. Composing hip-shaking techno anthems on everything from hardware modular synthesizers to the Nintendo Game Boy, her composition style draws heavily from the languages of cyberfeminism, rave culture, and DIY electronic aesthetics. ✦ Nadia - @nadialaziza pulls from a breadth of styles and speeds of music with percussive, often obscure, but danceable textures. Her long-time involvement in amateur radio led her to co-found Verge.fm, in the midwest, where she’s from.
