Happy Hour: Preacher's Daughter Invites

Honored to curate my first event at Bossa, the place where techno first cracked me open. It’s where I discovered how sound could move through me, how dancing became a way to process, escape, and feel what I didn’t yet have words for. I’m curating this night to hold space for that kind of experience: techno as sacred and spiritual, rooted in movement, memory, and introspection. The kind that’s raw, hypnotic, and off-the-radar. It’s bittersweet how rarely I see BIPOC people in these spaces, when techno was born from Black resistance and survival. That’s why I’m especially proud to invite these queer artists: Alex Hell-n, whose emotionally charged sets push against expectation and center queer release, and LTE, whose bold, genre-defiant blends build bridges across electro, bass, and experimental club with joy and precision. Both are artists who lead with care, curiosity, and conviction, reminding us that the dancefloor is still a place of possibility.
